Cortex enhances functionality on the Cortex Trading Partner Network with the launch of Field Ticket Approval

CALGARY, ALBERTA, June 3, 2015 – Cortex Business Solutions Inc. (TSXV: CBX), the pioneering online network that helps companies connect and interact with each other to transmit documents and grow their businesses, today announces the launch of its latest innovation designed to help customers efficiently review and approve service calls, field tickets and purchases from within their Cortex Workbench account.

Designed in close consultation with existing customers, Field Ticket Approval extends the functionality of the cloud-based Cortex Workbench application to deliver immediate value across the Cortex Trading Partner Network (“CTPN”).

Eliminates Manual Processes, Saving Time and Money

Traditionally, getting approval on field tickets required multiple attempts by Suppliers to find the appropriate approver. Field Ticket Approval eliminates the manual work required to chase down approvers resulting in time and cost savings to customers.

Increased Visibility

The Cortex Workbench application gives unparalleled visibility into the status of a field ticket, allowing the submitting Supplier the ability to monitor its progress, and action any delays immediately. This visibility and direct communication with other Trading Partners means faster processing and reduces the days sales outstanding for Suppliers.

Already Integrated Functionality

The strength of CTPN lies in its ability to integrate with any ticketing, workflow or ERP system and by delivering Field Ticket Approval through the Cortex Workbench application; customers avoid large costs associated with large scale software integration projects. Customers can enhance their existing

Workbench functionality to include Field Ticket Approval with no additional integrations required.
