Sponsorship Deal Will Be in Effect for the Entire 2017/18 NHL Season
CALGARY, ALBERTA – October 3, 2017 - Cortex Business Solutions Inc. (TSXV: CBX), a network-as-a-service e-invoicing solutions provider, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Calgary Flames organization to transform its relationship from a vendor of the Flames to a true partner both on and off the ice.
The sponsorship agreement gives Cortex the exclusive rights to have their logo on all Calgary Flames transactions, on both the Flames website and social media feeds, throughout the 2017/18 NHL campaign. Types of transactions that will have the ‘Powered by Cortex’ logo affixed to the announcement are player signings, player call ups from, or returns to the minors, and management signings.

Since the sponsorship agreement went into effect on the opening day of NHL Free Agency, July 1, 2017, Cortex’s logo has been prominently displayed on over 27 transaction related posts for a total of over 1.1M impressions across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

In addition to the co-branding of digital assets, Cortex’s sponsorship agreement gives them further brand exposure opportunities via in-rink and television broadcast initiatives.
