Customer Support and Application Analyst

Cortex Business Solutions, a leading technology solutions provider, is currently seeking a Customer Support and Application Analyst to join their growing team.

Position Summary:

The Customer Support and Application Analyst is a key member in the support and deployment team with a primary focus of supporting our solutions by building a trusted relationship with our customers. They are responsible for ensuring it is running properly, conducting end-user training and manning the support line.  

What you will be doing:

    • Respond to and resolve all customer inquiries
    • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction through constant communication
    • Analyze, troubleshoot and devise solutions to reported problems
    • Analyze customer requests and assist in designing customization specifications
    • Maintain proper documentation of issues and resolutions
    • Report customer feedback and participate in new features design
    • Assist in development of product online help and documentation 

What you bring to the Team:

    • Minimum 4 years of experience supporting mission critical business applications
    • Self-motivated, energetic and responsible personality
    • Bsc., University/College or equivalent degree
    • In depth knowledge of SQL and relational database, including Oracle and MS SQL Server
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System
    • Knowledge of networking principles
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to develop positive relationships with clients, prospects and co-workers
    • Strong computer and organizational skills
    • Experience with Document Management and Workflow software
    • Knowledge of Oil & Gas financial software
